Where to Eat in Perry Georgia

The Swanson Restaurant

The Swanson Restaurant is a charming restaurant that truly impresses with its excellent country cooking. The historic house turned restaurant is a perfect spot for a delicious meal.

The restaurant offers a great selection of food, including salads, pimento cheese, deviled eggs, and full-course meals, especially perfect for vegetable lovers. Make sure to try the fried green tomatoes, deviled eggs, and pimento cheese trio appetizer.

Where to Eat in Perry Georgia

The Swanson Restaurant is arguably one of the best Southern cooking restaurants you may ever visit, at least in Georgia. The restaurant’s atmosphere, service, and fantastic food make it perfect for any occasion.

Oil Lamp Restaurant

It is a cafeteria-style establishment rather than a restaurant. The quality of the food, including baked chicken, meatloaf, and sides like corn and squash casserole are pretty good and the prices are very reasonable.

The place is clean and the servers are friendly and knowledgeable.

Overall, nothing to write home about but a decent place for a lunch stopover because of good quality food, reasonable prices and friendly & helpful staff.

LongHorn Steakhouse

The service and the food quality at this restaurant is kind of iffy. You might get lucky and end up with some “absolutely great service” and “perfectly cooked steaks” or it may be a bit of a nightmare with pretty poor service and equally poorly prepared food.

You might want to skip this place, unless you have no choice!
