To be honest there are not many things to do in Clover South Carolina, but if you love nature, hiking, golf and fine life you will still find some exciting things to do.

Kings Mountain State Park is not too far away and it has a large number of scenic trails, perfect for leisurely strolls, hiking, bird watching and even horseback riding.

There are around 25 golf courses within 20 miles of Clover, including several that are open to the public. So if you are a keen golfer, you will be able to play a round or two, for sure.

Clover is well located with lovely towns such as York and Lake Wylie within a 10 mile radius. Even Charlotte is not too far away!

The 11 mile loop trail promises a tranquil experience for hikers, horseback riders, and runners alike. The trail is a lot of fun as it is mostly flat, with very few ups and downs

Amidst scenic views and peaceful water crossings, you may encounter some muddy spots though due to the equestrian traffic. 

This is a well maintained trail that can be considered easy to moderate. There were no tricky spots on the section that I hiked.

2. Kings Mountain Recreation Trail: Challenging Terrain

If you found the above trail a bit too easy and are looking for something more challenging, then the Kings Mountain Recreation Trail will certainly test your limits and hiking prowess.

This 16 mile loop trail is a rewarding adventure for backpackers, birdwatchers, and campers. 

The enchanting creek crossings and the serene beauty of the landscape create a harmonious blend of tranquility and excitement.

Though occasionally overgrown, the trail’s beauty and peacefulness make it a perfect escape for any nature enthusiast. 

The abundance of wildlife and the ever-changing scenery keep even seasoned hikers captivated at every turn.

3. River Hills Country Club: A Golfer’s Paradise
