The bar serves drinks at reasonable prices, and the menu features favorites like gumbo, crab cakes, and shrimp dinners. The restaurant provides poolside dining and beach access, weather permitting, adding to the overall ambiance.

The food, including wings, grilled and fried shrimp, and fish, are of mediocre quality though the flavors are still enjoyable. The prices are surprisingly lower so that kind of compensates for a below average food quality.

The staff is friendly, but the decor could do with some restoration and modernization. The vibrant bar serves up an array of craft beers and signature cocktails, making it an ideal spot to unwind and enjoy live music performances. For an optimal experience, it’s recommended to sit outside and soak in the atmosphere.

Islanders Restaurant and Bar

Islanders Restaurant and Bar provides a wonderful dining experience with excellent service and delicious food. The deck dining option, surrounded by palm trees, adds to the ambiance.

The menu offers a range of dishes, including tasty oyster po’boys and crawfish po’boys. The freshly cooked Yukon chips and flavorful coleslaw are additional highlights. However, to be fair, some menu items may be hit or miss in terms of taste.

The service is friendly, accommodating  and polite. Go there for the ambiance, drinks, music and hope that the items that you order are cooked well!
