1. The Dolphin and Nature Sunset Cruise

There are many ways to see the playful dolphins in the Gulf. The Dolphin and Nature Sunset Cruise, booked through Tripadvisor certainly ranks on top of that list.

In my opinion it is a must-do activity when in Orange Beach. This two-hour cruise takes you on a scenic tour of the Gulf Coast, where you can see dolphins, local wildlife, and breathtaking sunsets.

2. The Wharf

The Wharf is a vibrant entertainment district that features a marina, restaurants, shopping, and entertainment options such as a movie theater, Ferris wheel, and live music events.

It is the most happening place and where most people end up in the evening.

3. Orange Beach Waterfront Park

Orange Beach Waterfront Park is a beautiful green space that overlooks Wolf Bay. It’s the perfect place to have a picnic, relax, and take in the stunning views.

4. Hugh S. Branyon Backcountry Trail

Hugh S. Branyon Backcountry Trail is a nature lover’s paradise. This trail system winds through six different ecosystems, including wetlands, dunes, and forests. 

Hiking and biking trails provide an up-close and personal view of local flora and fauna. Yes, there is a lot of action for seniors on land too!

5. Orange Beach Golf Center

While here, you can play some golf too! Orange Beach Golf Center is a great place for golf enthusiasts to practice their swing or play a round.

The center features a driving range, putting green, and 9-hole golf course.

6. Alabama Point East

Alabama Point East is a popular beach access point that offers stunning views of the Gulf of Mexico. It’s a great spot for swimming, sunbathing, and enjoying water sports.

7. Gulf State Park Nature Center

Gulf State Park Nature Center is an educational and interactive experience for visitors of all ages. The center features exhibits on local wildlife, ecosystems, and conservation efforts. 

They also offer guided nature walks and educational programs throughout the year.

Louisiana Lagniappe
